Clinical haematologist

Dr Julie Wang obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008 and has trained in haematology at various institutions including Alfred Health, Monash Health, St Vincent’s Hospital, and Northern Health. She holds dual fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Julie has an interest in the areas of thrombosis and haemostasis and is pursuing a PhD in this area through the University of Melbourne. She holds appointments at the Northern Hospital, and has admitting rights to Warringal Hospital and Northpark Private Hospital.

All malignant and general haematological referrals are welcome, including lymphoma/myeloma, iron deficiency, venous thromboembolism and anticoagulation advice. Julie is committed to delivering a high standard of care incorporating the latest scientific evidence, and regularly attends scientific meetings to update knowledge and present research.

Julie is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
